This is a rare dream and its meaning varies greatly. For those who live in an earthquake area, it merely indicates some minor difficulties to be overcome. But for others it signifies a complete change of circumstances and/or environment from which they can eventually reap a rich reward, but only through diligence and perseverance.

I've had two earthquake dreams in the recent past. the recent past being last week and an hour ago. one of them was completely non-realistic. the other I actually had to ask someone when I woke up if there had been an earthquake. I don't like dreaming about earthquakes because even when you know it was just a dream it's a uneasy feeling when you open your eyes.
