I got to thinking last night after a conversation I was having with someone about babies. The gist of the conversation was how no one seems to really want them. At least the people that Devin thinks are cool don't want to have babies and that this means the world will be populated with children being raised by people he thinks are not cool.
But I look at it this way. More than likely there are quite a few "cool" people out there that were raised by "uncool" people. People that have turned out nothing like thier parents. Just like there are "uncool" people that were raised by "cool" parents. So there will always be "cool" people being born despite the lack of "cool" people having children. So I figure he has nothing to worry about.
He has a fear he'll be reincarnated into a family with values he despises. Which is kind of a strange fear.... not as strange as fearing chickens, but we all have our little oddities. (*note to self: must find out if this is a fear of all things bird like, or just chickens specifically)
