lesson learned: when your friend says "I can fix your brakes it will only take a half an hour"......... it's too good to be true.... 5 hours. it got done it was in my price range (whoo hoo) and saved my life probably since there wasn't any brake pad left on the passenger side and I was mere miles away from metal to metal. (side note I now know how to change a tire if need be.... and next time I need new brake pads I could probably do it myself with a little guidance)
